_About the Role_

The Team Lead is responsible for managing a cross-functional agile team of business analysts, developers, and testers to design, build and maintain software solutions through the software development lifecycle.

They help drive a culture of continuous improvement, lean thinking, and ensure their team meets its commitments.

The role is temporary until 31 December possible extension or becoming ongoing.

Running elections.

Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral laws such as the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018

_Essential requirements_

At least 3 years' experience leading teams and managing the delivery of complex software projects, preferably in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
At least 5 years' development experience with a strong technical background in MS technologies and cloud computing platforms, such as Azure.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Strong team leadership skills with a focus on engaging at a technical level with teams to maximise individual team member and overall team performance.
Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope work to deliver software changes.
Demonstrated experience use a range of software development planning, monitoring, reporting and quality assurance tools, eg Jira, Zephr, Confluence, Azure Devops.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
Satisfactory criminal record check results.
