Commencing salary range $82,134 - $88,167 per annum plus 11% superannuation and annual leave loading:

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Wellbeing & Safety Advisor to provide specialist advice and expertise in the key areas of organisational Safety, Health and Wellbeing, including return to work activities


Key responsibilities include:

  • Implement the Institute's Wellbeing and Mental Health Strategy in collaboration with the internal stakeholders.
  • Plan, develop and deliver a series of events and activities aimed at promoting employee wellbeing.
  • Maintain and enhance the Institute's systems and reporting in managing safety, including psychological safety, as appropriate.
  • Manage initiatives related to a safety first culture across the Institute.
  • Actively represent the People & Capability on the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) Consultative Committee.
  • Manage RTW and workers compensation with a focus on early intervention and supporting return to work.

About You:

You will be an experienced and trusted advisor on the topics of organisation wellbeing and demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing Health & Wellbeing functions and matters.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence for decision making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on Wellbeing and health issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and promoting employee events to foster a positive culture.
  • Relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to collate, manipulate, analyse and interpret workforce data and information into a workforce report.
