1 x Part-time (15.2 hours per week) and fixed-term until December 2024.

2 x Full-time (38 hours per week) and 12 months fixed-term._ As per the Victorian TAFE Teaching Agreement 30 hours on site attendance, 8 hours offsite available._


Key duties and responsibilities
:


  • Write curriculum materials and assessments that meet all training package requirements.
  • Write curriculum materials and assessments suitable for digitisation and use in a blended learning framework.
  • Collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure there is a consistent and collaborative approach to the development of course/curriculum and resources.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support the design and redesign of curriculum, assessment and resources for specific courses.
  • Provide excellent curriculum and assessment materials for the benefit of students, their employers and industry within the guidelines of the Training Package.

***- Applicants require an approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area or approved equivalent qualifications and approved industry experience.

  • Minimum teaching qualification of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 including TAEASS502 (Design and Develop Assessment Tools) and TAELLN411 (Address Adult language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)) or TAE4011
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching within VET and relevant experience in the development of VET curriculum materials and assessments.

Experience in the following training packages is preferred:
SIT, FBP, AMP, BSB and SIR.

  • Ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials and methods of assessment, and adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs using appropriate technology in a diverse teaching environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the Vocational Education and Training sector particularly in curriculum and assessment materials and resources.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the VET Regulatory Framework.
  • Demonstrated capacity for innovative thinking and creative approaches to curriculum and assessment design.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to contribute to, and be a part of the teams working within the Vocational Education and Training Operations.
  • Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
