The Job
The position is a for a full time Payroll / Accounts Officer contract role of 12 months. With a possibility to be extended.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.


The Duties


The payroll / Accounts officer will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of pay runs using PayGlobal within the specified time frame.

This role will also assist with any pay related queries that employees have and work through to a successful resolution.


Payroll

  • Understanding of, and the ability to interpret employment documents including, letters of employment, Enterprise Agreements, relevant Modern Awards and Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
  • Preparing any payment changes and/or adjustments and submitting to the Senior Payroll Manager for processing.
  • Processing PayGlobal pay runs within the payroll processing time frames, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Accurate entering of new starters, terminations and updating existing employees.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records in accordance with audit requirement.
  • Be a point of contact for employees who have payroll queries.

Reporting

  • Weekly and monthly reporting requirements for Internal Companies.

Payroll experience is desired not is not a necessary:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have previous payroll experience.
  • Adaptable to changing environments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise.
