About the opportunity:

We are currently seeking motivated and energetic individuals who are looking for permanent opportunities to work as Storepersons based at our warehousing site in Clayton, VIC.

Reporting to the Regional Distribution Manager you will be an integral member of the bakery distribution team, responsible for overseeing a range of activities and working toward KPIs.

Opportunities currently exist for:

Full time permanent

Availability required to work Monday to Friday between 6am 6pm

Responsibilities include:

General GMP
SAP Knowledge
Cycle counting
Stock takes
Batch control
Picking of raw materials for production
Full Inventory process
Unloading of vendors raw materials and ingredients trucks
Demonstrate Safe methods of work
Labelling, putaway and good receipt
Rotation of stock from wooden chep pallets to plastic pallets
Space utilizations, including warehouse layout knowledge
Forklift license required
New product change over's
DOC Sign
Pallet management

To be successful in this role you will need:

Experience in a fast paced FMCG environment ideally within the food industry
Current forklift licence is desirable
Strong problem solving skills
Be able to work unsupervised in a team environment
Excellent communication skills listening, verbal and written
Thorough understanding of safety, health and environment as well as HACCP
