About you

You are a seasoned leader with an in depth understanding of transport and logistics, coupled with the ability to set up and/or, optimise a logistics business.

You have strong understanding of project management gained through leading projects or as a key stakeholder on a major project.

You have strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to manage complex stakeholder groups. You are enthusiastic, resilient, tenacious, and flexible. You are strategically minded, and a big picture thinker however are also happy to get hands-on. You are down to earth, humble and have a natural ability to build lasting relationships.

About the role
This is a newly created strategic leadership role to establish a new service offering for this progressive ASX100 leader.

The role will encompass all mobilisation activities, managing an exciting project from a greenfield start thorough to commencement and then ongoing operations of this major logistics business.

It is expected this business will grow to a $35+million per annum turnover, with a team of 50-70, and large fleet.
