Are you an Owner and a Builder who can help grow the Amazon business in Australia and Singapore? Are you passionate about working with product and technology/engineering teams to enhance the on-site customer experience, and to build tools that drive success for both internal teams and external partners?

Amazon is looking for a driven leader to manage our Customer Experience PM team for the Australia and Singapore Stores team.

If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.

Role location is flexible between Sydney and Singapore.

Our retail team operates out of our fabulous CBD office (conveniently located near many transportation options), and from home (during COVID-19) leveraging technology.

Amazon offers employees in the retail team a competitive remuneration package, including participation in the company stock plan as applicable.

We also look after our people with benefits, such as subsidized private health insurance, superannuation and paid parental leave options, amongst others.

Key job responsibilities

To excel in this role, you will:

  • Be passionate about customer experience, and delivering innovative enhancements on behalf of our customers
  • Bring management experience, and take pride in your ability to help your team succeed and develop
  • Be willing to "roll up your sleeves" and operate with limited guidance
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence local and remote teams, both tech and nontech
  • Bring analytical horsepower, enhanced excel (and ideally SQL) skills, and a deep curiosity about how things work
  • Be commercially savvy and have excellent business judgement
  • Bring operational rigor, holding your program stakeholders accountable to the highest of standards
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Experience recruiting and developing high performing teams that deliver outsized results
  • P&L management and/or product development and GTM experience
  • High threshold for working and thriving in an ambiguous, fastpaced environment figuring it out and adapting as you go
  • Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
  • Superior analytical skills including Excel and SQL
