This organisation is a national charity supporting Australians impacted by eating disorders and body image issues, and for the families, friends and communities who support them.


They are changing lives by providing innovative, evidence-based support service, treatment, and resources, delivering prevention and early intervention programs, and advocating for the needs of our community.


The Role:


This charity is embarking on an exciting new chapter which sees them significantly investing and prioritising fundraising across all revenue streams.

This new role will specifically dive right in and have full accountability to lead and manage the Individual Giving program.


As a core member of the Fundraising team, this role will be at the forefront of their mission, driving all aspects of individual giving initiatives including appeals, regular giving, acquisition, and retention activities to further enhance their brand and fuel their life-changing programs and services.


Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising, you'll collaborate closely with their growing, dynamic team to drive success and make a tangible difference whilst also working closely with respected external agency suppliers.


This role is seeking a strong technical Individual Giving expert who is excited at the prospect of making this role their own and, someone who thrives on the challenge of building a program that is only in its infancy.

This role also has line management responsibilities.


Skills & Experience:


  • Relevant tertiary level qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, specialising in individual giving.
  • Proven experience in strategic and operational delivery of all aspects of individual giving and reporting outcomes for retention and growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of reporting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including CRMs, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Financial competence and ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Quick grasp of new concepts and ability to think creatively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Selfmotivated and professional, with the ability to achieve outcomes amidst a busy workload.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills to work closely with a small team.
