_A wonderful opportunity to join a growing and vibrant consultancy providing in-depth advice around technical asset management. They aim to provide landlords, tenants, and operators sound advice concerning a property's lifecycle from conception to disposal through operation and refurbishment. They pride themselves on their agile and team-oriented values and expertise around the built environment to deliver value to their clients. They are seeking to build up their Brisbane based team to match their growing organisation_
The Opportunity:
With a suite of repeat clients and growth of new business sectors, they are currently looking to grow their Queensland team, based predominately in the Brisbane CBD and Inner Suburbs.
- Undertaking visual assessments of properties with the provision of professional reporting
- Technical due diligence reporting
- Make good assessment
- Building condition assessment reporting
- Building pathology and defect reporting, including scoping of remedial repairs
- Schedules of condition (prelease reporting)
- Dilapidation reports
- Lifecycle reporting, including CAPEX forecasts
- Asset Register development
Your Skillsets:Your technical appreciation and in-depth knowledge of the workings of a building and how to optimise its performance will be regarded. This could include anyone with a qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, Carpentry or an equivalent field.
You will demonstrate the following:
- Sound building construction and fabric knowledge, ideally gained from working in a trade based environment or consultancy role
- Appreciation of the criticality of an assets' impact on the operation of a property
- Interest in working across a diverse sector from commercial assets to hospitals to schools
- Confidence in utilising technology and appreciation of how technology interfaces with a building to improve performance
- Ability to develop written reports incorporating technical information
- Deadline and project outcome focused
