- Responsibility of electrical compliance within the fixed plant
- Commissioning new plant and equipment
- Providing leadership and support to a diverse team of trade personnel
- Work in conjunction with all OPF teams on scheduled works
- Driving safe systems of work with a strong a positive team safety culture
- Ensure development and succession plans are implemented to achieve a positive workplace culture
- Set clear expectations and standards for team members to meet organisations objectives
- Manage and plan daily work tasks and provide supervision to all electrical employees and contractors under your control
- Western Australia Electrical Licence
- In-House License Nominee experience
- HV Switching qualifications with previous experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance as well as WA electrical standards, regulations and legislation
- Previous leadership experience within a processing plant
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems – SAP desirable
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Encourage a good team culture that is in line with company values
- Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
- Competent in reading technical manuals/plans/schematics

An exciting opportunity exists for a for a qualified and dynamic Fixed Plant Maintenance Electrical Supervisor to join the Iron Bridge OPF Electrical Maintenance team.
Be a part of Fortescue's exciting new magnetite mine at Iron Bridge. Currently under construction, when finished it will be one of the largest magnetite mines in W.A. The world class facility is situated 145km south of Port Hedland and will deliver 22 million tonnes per annum of high grade 67% magnetite concentrate product. The innovative process design ensures production is highly efficient with globally competitive operating costs for a mine of this scale and size. Iron Bridge will employ 900 full time positions once operations commence in early 2023.
Initially embedded into the commissioning team, you will safely and effectively assist with commissioning the plant and ensuring a smooth transition into production.
You will lead a team to provide safe, effective, and timely electrical maintenance to our equipment and ancillaries to optimise plant operational capacity. This is permanent full-time position in a forward thinking and values-based organisation with a strong focus on building an inclusive team culture.
