At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a Solution Designer to join our client integration solutions team within the Wholesale Credit and Corporate Finance Technology are.

The team works with the Institutional Credit and operations teams to design, develop, modify, document, and validate the most appropriate and fit for purpose business solutions using Integrated Services.

As the Solution Designer, you will be involved in assisting solution design, develop, modify, document, and validate the most appropriate and fit for purpose business solutions partnering with our business stakeholders, tech area architects, software engineers, developers and analysts to articulate requirements to ensure the delivery of work meets customer expectations.

You will also promote a tech development culture at ANZ.

The role has responsibility to ensure that solutions are designed for maximum business benefits aligning to standardized architecture pattens using industry best practices that will help improve business agility and efficiency of the credit approval process and STP of the data into our core-banking and risk/reg platforms.

What will your day look like
Working within an agile team to help deliver world-class solutions
Working closely with BAs withing the team and close communication with product owners
Producing design artefacts at architectural and low level for the team to deliver
Management of stories including acceptance criteria in automated testing language (such as cucumber)
SME across your product area, providing input for the delivery team and the business product owners
Helping with team ceremonies including kick-offs, retros, backlog grooming
Using API testing tools to ensure APIs are aligned to design
Producing design documentation and updating as required
Writing Splunk queries / dashboards / alerts to better understand and maintain your product area

Proven record of designing complex systems integration, patterns, and architecture
