The Governance Lead, SBB & AF is critical to making this happen and will work on various initiatives that relate to the Small Business portfolio
This will include:
Developing, reviewing and updating policy frameworks, processes and controls to ensure a clear and consistent approach to the identification, assessment and management of credit risk
Completing targeted analytical reviews on portfolio segments, ensuring the consistent and effective implementation of the credit risk management framework in the portfolio
Preparing and socialising written reports to influence uplift across first line processes
This role is a line manager to three direct reports who will assist you with the above responsibilities.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Well-developed ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective risk management solutions and to influence change
Degree in a numerate, statistical, or commercial discipline along with good applied statistics skills, including experience using data platforms
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong capabilities to articulate complex analytical information. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
