About our client:

Our client is an Australian owned freight forwarding company who provides international air and sea service. They pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a friendly work environment for all staff.


Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for lead generation, sales and account management.


Responsibilities include:


  • Develop business plans aligned with strategic company directions
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts
  • Acquire new business through a variety of online and direct sales activities
  • Understand and track a variety of key metrics such as number of online enquiries and website visitors, customer service enquiries and conversions
  • Manage the resolution of issues related to key accounts
  • Build effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience:


  • Minimum 3 years' sales and account management experience within the Freight Forwarding industry
  • CargoWise 1 experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Import and export sea and air operations experience
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, agents, staff and all stakeholders
  • A relevant qualification is desirable
