About our client:

Our client is an international freight forwarding company who provides international air and sea service, including warehousing and 3PL solutions.

They pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a friendly work environment for all staff.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring customer enquiries are managed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Manage and deliver excellent customer service to a portfolio of clients
Manage import and export sea operations using CargoWise
Arrange bookings with shipping lines ensuring shipments are executed in the most cost/time efficient manner
Monitor and update shipment status reports
Respond to queries from overseas offices, suppliers and clients
Support the sales and management team
Other duties as required by the Branch Manager

Skills and experience:

Customer service experience in freight forwarding
Import air and sea operations experience
Export air and sea operations experience, not essential
Strong attention to detail
High level of computer literacy and experience in using CargoWise 1 software
Ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, agents, staff and all stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
