Who will you be working for?
The company is a multi-division building products and hardware business. Your customer base consists of engineers, builders and trades. The company is global, profitable, and has a great reputation. Your product range possesses some clear strategic advantages against the competition.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop the marketing plan for your category
  • Review the market and range and assess opportunities for new products and channels to market
  • New product development
  • Reporting, data analysis, forecasting, insights and segmentation
  • Working on pricing and margins
  • Promotion strategy regarding the messages and target audience and work closely with agencies and the marketing communications manager for execution
  • ATL, BTL and digital

Your skills and experience

  • You have appropriate marketing qualifications
  • Advanced use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (you love the numbers)
  • Previous experience as a product manager in building products, industrial or allied industries is ideal, but not essential
  • Project management and organisation skills
  • Professional approach and a friendly attitude
  • Happy in front of customers finding new insights and turning that into a product or logístical advantage
  • Ability to influence across the business with a variety of functions
  • Track record of success and ability to research and assess new markets and develop the product and a gotomarket strategy and execute
