Sustainable transport needs to pay for itself. And the fairest way to do that is to share the cost across every vehicle on our roads.

In the newly created role of Continuous Improvement Program Manager, you'll be joining the Collections Strategy and Innovation team.

As we work to uplift collections performance by challenging current business processes, analysing workflow, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading the implementation of these.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead a diverse program of initiatives and managing multiple projects and tasks.

  • Lead the development and execution of initiatives that will optimise performance of the collections functions while providing leadership to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Establish a Business Process Management (BPM) framework for our revenue services functions. • Design and lead the influence of implementing a national consistent business process for collections and revenue services.
  • Influence and educate key stakeholders on continuous improvement, BPM, change managements, etc, to increase support and long term adoption within organisational operations.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in leading business transformation and change, gained in fast-paced or ambiguous environments. Ideally within digital, technology and/or customer focussed.
  • Any experience or robust knowledge of collections, payments, finance or similar discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in leading delivery of change or transformation programs.
  • Experience and ability to design and deliver effective strategy and transformation plans.
  • Ability to leverage commercial acumen, business insight and strategy to deliver key customer initiatives.
  • Any certifications within Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement or Change Management will be highly favourable.
  • Strong skills in building and fostering relationships as well as the ability to influence and negotiate.
With a career at Transurban, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • A range of flexible working and leave options, including the option to purchase an additional six weeks of leave each year.
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as well.
  • Learning and development opportunities to support your career interests.
  • Health and wellbeing support—access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and more.
  • Share offers and insurance benefits.
  • Social activities, community giveback programs and paid volunteer days.

We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests.

Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.
