Description

The Instructional Designer will work within Learning Design Innovation to provide expertise in the research, development and writing of learning and assessment materials for specifically identified programs or projects within the Learning Design Innovation and the broader University.

A key requirement for this position will be strong skills in undertaking research and consolidation of information to high
- level written format, aligned to either units of competencies or learning outcomes at all AQF levels within the higher and vocational education and training sectors.


About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Create a variety of high-quality learning delivery materials to complement different delivery options including face to face workshops, workplace and simulated workplace environments and online digital platforms.
  • Design, develop and adapt learning and assessment resources to provide authentic learning experiences for students, and which cater for individual student needs.
  • Customise design approach and writing style to meet student cohort and client needs.
  • Ensure all materials meet applicable regulatory requirements as required by ASQA and VRQA.
  • Proactively support project/program plans and scope to ensure that key deliverables are delivered in line with project/program timelines, service delivery standards and budget in accordance with stakeholder expectations and client needs.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or higher in adult education
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Relevant degree or vocational qualification
