Description

Sniffers Group, a Stapylton-based construction company, is seeking a a labourer / yard person / entry level operator to be on site Monday to Friday (and some Saturday's as required) to undertake the following tasks (including but not limited to):

Duties and Responsibilities

Front End Loader operations experience preferred but we can train you
Excavator operations
Forklift operations
Loading & unloading trucks
Operating around ground crew and other machinery
Radio communication via handheld UHF
Manual lifting yard materials
Site cleaning where required
Machinery and truck wash down / cleaning as required
Use of power tools
Making concrete moulds as Agitators come in

We are willing to provide all training and certification for equipment, as well as helping you attain your forklift and HR licence if you are keen and eager to learn and grow with us.

We do need you to have the following though:

Current drivers licence & reliable transport
Construction white card
Full PPE steel cap boots, hivis long sleeve shirt, long pants, wide brim hat, hard hat, gloves (we will supply shirts and gloves)
Previous experience working in a similar environment (preferred but not essential)
Be reliable and punctual
Able to do manual work with no physical restrictions
Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Available to start immediately

Penalties paid on overtime as outlined in our EBA
Casual employment with full time hours with progression to full time status after probation period
