    Description

    The company
    An established and highly regarded Civil Engineering Design Consultancy in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, renowned for bringing iconic greenfield and brownfield land subdivisions to life. This is a mid-sized firm with a family-feel and respectful, supportive environment.

    The role
    Due to an increase in workload, there is a need for an additional administrator who will be a dedicated resource for the construction engineering group. Whilst this role is office-based, there will be an opportunity to visit sites to see live projects - so this position will suit someone with a keen interest in supporting the construction industry.

    Typical tasks will include:

    • Meeting coordination, minutes and follow up on actions
    • Producing reports
    • Progress claims
    • Project administration
    • Site safety reports
    • Communicating with various stakeholders

    Skills and experience:
    Whilst experience in an engineering consultancy or construction firm will be highly regarded, it is not essential as processes can be trained.

    • Administrative experience similar to above
    • A positive attitude towards learning
    • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
    • Intermediate-advanced MS Office skills essential
    • The ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
    • Comfortable working autonomously - often your team may be out on site
