The Role


Reporting into the Project Services Director and working closely with the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the master project schedule.

You will monitor progress against baseline, perform schedule scenario and risk planning and prepare dashboards and reports.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated scheduling experience in the oil and gas or pipeline sectors and extensive experience in Primavera P6.

High level conceptual and analytical skills are essential


The position has the following key accountabilities but not limited to:

  • Develop, manage, update, and monitor individual work package schedules and integrate into an overall master program schedule, including management of numerous interdependencies
  • Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports: Gantt, milestone charts, and other tools used to support critical path analysis, nearterm tasks work, performance variances, and to support cost/schedule integration
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on program progress against agreed baselines and advise any delays or issues.
  • Support the project management team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects, including dashboard maintenance
  • Perform schedule risk and critical path analysis and undertake scenario planning and report project implications

The Team


The position of Schedular - Project Planner forms a part of the Invest Victoria branch in the Global Victoria group.


Invest Victoria is the Victorian Government's key economic development agency which is responsible for: setting investment strategy for the State and guiding its implementation; attracting and leading foreign direct investment opportunities; leading investment opportunities of state significance; providing information, support and facilitation services for investors; leveraging additional economic development benefits and investment outcomes from a range of government activities such as procurement; enhancing whole-of-government mechanisms (such as facilitation services and financial incentives); identifying and advising on areas to improve business investment environment; and managing and coordinating the State's investment pipeline.
