The Role

The Digital Engagement and Marketing Officer will lead the day-to-day content creation and engagement for the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation (OWSR) through its Change Our Game (COG) digital channels to increase gender equality in sport and active recreation in Victoria.

Reporting to OWSR's Head of Impact and Engagement, this role will support the impact and engagement strategies aimed at growing the profile of OWSR, its mission, programs and other initiatives, building value in the Change Our Game brand to help our programs and initiatives stand apart, growing the Change our Game audience and driving community engagement and action by connecting with more Victorians than ever before.

The position has the following key accountabilities but not limited to:

  • Provide a range of support across a broad range of Impact and Engagement projects, including event delivery, procurement and finance activities where required.
  • Management of OWSR's digital tools and systems, including website updates, development of presentation material, database updates and segmentation, maintenance of photo and vision library, and oversight of digital templates.
  • Monitor and collate media coverage; monitor breaking news and emerging issues as it relates to women in sport, and OWSR's key content pillars.
The Team

The position of Digital Engagement and Marketing Officer forms a part of the Sport and Recreation Victoria branch in the Sport and Experience group.

Sport and Experience Economy (SEE) is comprised of Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV) and Tourism and Events (T&E).

SRV aims to create greater sport and active recreation participation opportunities for all Victorians in order to maximise economic, social and health benefits and enhance Victoria's liveability.
