About the role


We are seeking a 1-3 year PQE Property Lawyer to work as part of our high performing team that prides itself on providing commercial advice on all aspects of commercial property law for private and public sector clients.

This is an opportunity to work closely with partners, senior lawyers and clients, ensuring that you are truly involved in engaging and interesting work.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating leases and contract documents
  • Advising clients (vendors and purchases) in all stages of a very broad range of commercial property transactions
  • Acting for clients in undertaking and responding to public procurement processes for the sale and acquisition of land
  • Advising land owners in relation to the development of land including advising on development agreements and access licences
  • Advising land owners in relation to title structuring and drafting easements, restrictions of use and positive covenants
  • Acting for developers in relation to strata schemes and community schemes
  • Assisting with providing due diligence and corporate support to our commercial team

About you
This role would suit a motivated junior real estate lawyer from a leading property practice, who is eager to expand their knowledge and advance their career


Other attributes include:

  • Ideally currently working in a commercial property or real estate team within private practice
  • An excellent academic record with strong technical legal skills
  • Demonstrate an eye for detail
  • Independent thinking and comfortable with learning new concepts quickly
  • A focus on collaboration and innovation, taking a client centric and commercial approach to solving problems
  • A keenness to participate in activities that build teamwork and relationships.
