About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Reporting Analyst to join our Finance and Operations team at Maddocks.

This entry level role will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with a focus on producing financial analytical reports, client reporting and ad hoc reporting.

You will be working in our collaborative and high performing Finance team with exposure to mentoring and career development.

  • Key Responsibilities:_
  • Preparation of a range of financial reports including performance, client, and budget reports.
  • Ongoing maintenance of practice team and individual lawyer budgets
  • Assist with preparation of annual financial budget
  • Provide support to the Billing team where required
  • Participation in Finance and firmwide projects with an emphasis on innovation and ultimately process improvement.

About you
We are looking for a Business / Commerce / Finance graduate who can demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • A basic knowledge of accounting and technical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Excel skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise work according to urgency.
  • Willingness to learn and an openminded approach.
