Are you a corporate paralegal with large law firm experience?Are you tired of really long hours? Would you like to work in-house in a highly regarded energy company with a "really nice and kind" group of colleagues? If so, R & W Group has a fantastic new opportunity One of our corporate clients is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to assist the legal department with corporate and finance transactions, including in areas of corporate governance, contract compliance, and other corporate and transactional matters.

This is a new position.

In this role, you would report to the Deputy General Counsel and work closely with the Legal, Finance and Treasury teams.

You would be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing various agreements and forms on behalf of the company.

You would also support the management of subsidiaries, preparing and maintaining electronic data rooms, legal operations and special projects, as well as generally support the in-house Legal team with research, presentations, document management, organization, and filings.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience working at a law firm or inhouse as a corporate paralegal, supporting corporate and finance transactions, subsidiary management, corporate governance and other related corporate matters.
  • Proficiency in using various business software tools, including entity management (CT Corp or similar), contract management (Ironclad or similar), data rooms (Merrill, Box, SharePoint), invoicing (Coupa or similar), DocuSign, Microsoft Office, and Concur.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with business team members and external counsel in a fastpaced and dynamic multiproject business environment.
