The National Library of Australia is seeking fill the outward facing role of
APS5 Coordinator, Public Programs.

A merit pool may be established from this recruitment activity which may be used to fill similar vacancies at the Library.

This is a great opportunity to hone your event management experience in one of Australia's leading Cultural Institutions.

You will manage and coordinate online and onsite events to share the National Library's collections with all Australians.
You will also manage and support the National Library's venue hire program.

These activities will include invoice processing, travel arrangements and other administrative tasks where your attention to detail will be needed.

You will be liaising regularly with external providers and stakeholders such as caterers and function holders. You will also build a network of internal stakeholders to support these functions and activities.

To be suitable for this vacancy, you should have events management experience.


You will also have to be able to obtain and maintain Responsible Service of Alcohol and Working with Vulnerable People registrations if necessary.

This role requires the occasional out of hours work to support other Library programs including online and onsite events.
