The Client
Leading fire protection company with 25 years of experience in the industry, they are committed to adhering to the highest possible fire safety standards.
Role and
Responsibilities
The Testing Manager will be responsible for managing the fire system inspection and testing function of the business, and help to achieve agreed KPI's.
This is a new role created due to company growth and you will be managing a team of 9 testers, 2 supervisors and 3 admin staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the fire system inspection and testing function of the company
- Ensure compliance with Australian fire codes, specifically AS185
- Achieve agreed KPI's in the Sydney metro area
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth running of testing and inspection procedures
- Maintain good relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Collaborative team player
- Background in the fire protection industry
- Familiarity with Australian fire codes, specifically AS185
- FPAS accredited or working towards it
- Police background check (required for some clients)
- COVID and Flu vaccinated (required for some clients)
