    Bring your hands on payroll experience and passion for accuracy, to this high profile community focussed and reputable organisation, for a business critical 6 week Micropay payroll assignment.

    Your Opportunity

    We are reaching out early to make sure this business critical Payroll Specialist is in place and confirmed to commence mid to late June 2024 for a critical 6 week leave cover period.

    Working closely with Finance and HR, this role is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in managing end to end payroll.

    You will cover the back-end processing and reporting, and run the fortnightly payroll for around 160 permanent and casual staff using Micropay.

    Other tasks will include managing superannuation, setting up new employees, dealing with leave entitlements and terminations, answering payroll queries, performing ad hoc reconciliations and producing payroll accounting reports and analysis, as needed.

    This organisation uses Micropay and ConnX - and experience with Micropay is essential with knowledge of ConnX advantageous. You must be able to do STP reporting, due to the timing of this contract role.

    Your Profile

    You are a Payroll Specialist who is comfortable owning the day to day processing and the payroll end to end, and you have the proven skills to pick up a new organisation's payroll complexities and awards, quickly and with accuracy.

    You must:

    Be able to start mid to late June and commit for 6 weeks.

    Offer strong Micropay experience and ideally bring knowledge of ConnX.

    Have Multi-Enterprise agreement experience, ideally in the education industry and if not, then a proven ability to interpret and apply industry specific enterprise agreements.

    Have proven ability to do year end STP reporting or at least be able to do the Micropay side of the STP reporting.

    To fit this organisation's culture and succeed in this role, you must have strong communication skills, have great attention to detail and be down to earth and able to build relationships quickly and of course, have a passion for all things payroll.


    Your Benefits

    Great opportunity to take on 6 week contract in Parramatta and to hit the ground running, bringing your specialised experience in payroll.

    You can get organised now for a mid to late June start and this is expected to be an approx 6 week contract, paying as a guide only, $40-$60 ph + super depending on your relevant experience.
