About the Role


A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Payroll Specialist to join the team in Greystanes on a 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • End to end full function payroll processing from Masterfile through to eft payments, fortnightly pay cycles
  • Correct calculations of payments including but not limited to redundancies, back pays and adjustments
  • PAYG payments in a timely manner
  • Superannuation reconciliation, notification of allocation & payments to all choice of funds
  • Third party payments such as garnishee, CSA & union deductions payments and notification of allocation of bodies
  • Payroll Tax reconciliation
  • Accurate award interpretation
  • Administration of BP & Shell online system for all new hires, exits, card reissues and pin resets including monthly reporting
  • NES Compliance
  • Accurate EBA interpretation
  • Maintenance of Mitrefinch system
  • Month end reporting
  • Assist with payroll projects

About you:


  • Proven experience in all functions of Payroll
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced experience in Excel
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Comprehensive payroll knowledge
