Tandem Partners are excited to be representing an established and well respected not for profit organisation who take pride in setting the standard for dental excellence in Australia.

This fantastic organisation are seeking an HR Manager to join the team for a 6 month period.


As the HR Manager, you will oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and career development.

You will also take charge of implementing new modules of a new HRIS. Collaborating with an HR Coordinator, you will ensure a seamless learning experience for our employees.

Additionally, you will contribute to our newly introduced health and safety initiatives, working closely with an external H&S consultant to develop the right frameworks and policies.

The role also involves participating in the P&C committee, where you will help shape the people and culture agenda.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with the HR Coordinator to ensure effective learning and development programs.
  • Lead the implementation of our HRIS and contribute to ongoing system enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of health and safety initiatives, working with an external consultant.
  • Take part in the P&C committee, assisting in setting the agenda and capturing meeting minutes.
  • Provide coaching and support to the HR Coordinator, fostering their growth and development.

Requirements:


  • Strong generalist HR experience, encompassing recruitment, ER, HRIS and performance management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety frameworks and policies, or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience in collaborating with external consultants for H&S initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide and develop team members.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • A passion for employee development, cultural initiatives and mental health and wellbeing.
  • Familiarity with policy reviews and implementation, particularly in diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function.
