Temporary full-time opportunity until 31 December 2023 located in Maitland NSW with flexible working arrangements available

Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $75,992 to $83,211 + super + annual leave loading


Crown Lands is currently seeking to appoint a
Natural Resource Management Officer to undertake natural resource management activities and providing a range of administrative and records management services to support the operation of the branch.


Do work that matters in this exciting role, you will act as a point of contact to ensure enquiries are addressed, resolved and/or re-directed for resolution while dealing tactfully with people and agency staff at all levels. You will provide appropriate balanced and timely information and advice to external clients, such as landholders, licensees, Local Government, solicitors and other State agencies on property management and natural resource issues.

Role Description:
Natural Resource Management Officer


About You


To be successful you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide timely and consistent advice to stakeholders.

You will be a team player, have a high attention to detail and passionate about creating a thriving environment for the people of NSW.


You will be proactive, highly organised and be comfortable and confident in being the first point of contact for key stakeholders.

You will also have strong stakeholder management skills.

Previous experience in natural resource management, environmental planning and assessment and land administration is highly desirable for the successful applicant.


Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, natural resource, planning or other relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in the industry
  • Current drivers' licence and willingness to travel
