Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Career Development Consultant to facilitate positive lifelong learning and employment outcomes for Curtin students.

In this role, you will have the rewarding experience of collaborating with faculty stakeholders, partnering with students, and integrating career development learning into curriculum and career education programs.


To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Experience in the delivery of high quality, innovative career education/training programs, workshops and resources using a blended service of virtual and face to face mediums as well as providing career counselling, career planning and career assessment services to students.
  • Sound knowledge of current trends in employability skills, international and national industry labour market trends and developments in the delivery of career development programs and services.
  • Eligibility for membership as a career practitioner (NAGCAS or Career Development Association of Australia), or equivalent professional status that meets with the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners.
  • A strong understanding of curriculum and pedagogy would be a distinct advantage.
