English Teacher:

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and passionate English teachers for a full-time, permanent teaching position at SCEGGS Darlinghurst commencing in Term 1, 2024.

The successful applicant for this role will have a deep knowledge of, and passion for, the study of English and English literature across Years 7-12.

They will have experience teaching a range of courses in Stage 6 and familiarity with the new NESA curriculum for Stage 4 and 5.

They will also be able to inspire their students to learn through a broad range of classroom strategies which differentiate the curriculum and encourage students to be innovative and self-reliant.

As a creative and imaginative thinker, the successful applicant will be a collaborative practitioner who is keen to join and to contribute to a dynamic team of teachers.

They will also be committed to the full life of the school and supportive of its Christian ethos.
