Maintenance/General Hand:

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated and reliable people to join our well-established small maintenance team. The role is a full-time, permanent position, with flexible shifts as required by the School calendar.

This 'hands-on' role will include a range of different roles each day, including general labouring tasks; grounds and building maintenance; general gardening tasks and moving equipment, furniture and deliveries.

It will also involve assisting with drop off/pick up traffic control duties, responding to evacuation alarms and assisting with some after-hours security and facilities lockup.

The successful applicant will:

Be able to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
Have the physical ability to perform the role.
Have basic IT skills.
Have good communication skills, including providing clear directions for visitors.
Be organised, flexible, reliable and motivated.
Show a demonstrated commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
Be available for flexible hours Monday-Friday, with some Saturday shifts.

They will also be committed to the full life of the school and be supportive of its Christian ethos.

Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a trade will be considered favourably as such skills are required by the School on a regular basis.
