About the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Paediatric Speech Pathology services within a sole clinical role in the areas of feeding / dysphagia, with services provided across the Special Care Nursey, Paediatric Ward, Maternity Ward, Emergency Department and Post-Acute and Outpatient Clinics.

This includes:

Delivering high quality evidenced based Paediatric Speech Pathology clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team.
Contribution to the advancement of quality Paediatric Speech Pathology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
