- Manage an allocated workload to deliver Speech Pathology services, within the PAH Speech Pathology team including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff.
- Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with clients and their carers and family, other health professionals from different disciplines, students and external agencies to achieve a client centred approach, utilising negotiation and conflict resolution skills as required.
- Provide education, direction and supervision for routine tasks to less experienced staff, students and support staff, with the support of senior clinical staff.
- Participate in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality and service improvement and/or research activities that enhance the delivery of Speech Pathology services and promote patient centred care within an interprofessional service.
