About the opportunity
Based out of our Tullamarine site, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team.

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our maintenance planning strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime.


Key areas:


  • Develop and implement maintenance planning strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Perform regular cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Manage regular store wide stock take and ownership of the maintenance stores.
  • Assist in the organization, tracking, and management of spare parts and critical equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, production supervisors and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Lead a preventive maintenancebased culture in the engineering team. Promoting the use of conditionbased monitoring techniques to predict failures before they occur.
  • Work with Fonterra accounting and vendors to coordinate parts and service invoicing an purchase orders.

Are you the one?
We are seeking individuals that are technically minded, ideally possessing a trade background within a manufacturing environment


You can also demonstrate:

  • Background in a similar role or manufacturing experienced trade position.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong inventory and vendor/suppliers management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills and SAP and MEX or other CMMS.
