About the Role
Our client is currently seeking a Project Officer with proven infrastructure industry experience to join their team in North Sydney, with the flexibility to work remotely from home.
It is an estimated 6-month maternity leave temporary assignment.
Working within the Infrastructure and Place Division, you will be required to provide exceptional project support and coordination, including general administrative duties, supporting the Director to deliver high-quality reporting associated with the effective development and delivery of complex major infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high level professional customer service
- Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
- Complete calendar and logistics management
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and events
- Track, monitor and report on key milestones and deliverables
- Conduct research and analysis, identifying trends and issues
- Gather and collate information to support informed decisionmaking outcomes
- Generating detailed reports to provide status updates and insights to management
- Processing invoices, purchase orders and goods receipting
- Recording and distributing minutes and resources
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with best practice and Departmental processes and procedures
About You
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:
- Demonstrated Project Officer experience
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite and OBJECTIVE
- Superior organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
Requirements:
- Reliable remote internet access with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
