WesTrac are currently looking for an
Account Manager to join our growing Sales team.


Reporting to the Mining Business Manager, this individual will be responsible for the effective day-to-day Account Management of a designated Customer base, ensuring the execution of the Sales Mining Strategy.

They are responsible for Capital, Parts and Service sales as well as contract negotiations and ensuring seamless customer services and support is provided.

The ideal applicant will possess exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, sound business acumen and demonstrated influencing abilities.

Our mining department are an integral link to our customers and to achieve our vision of being the customer's first choice in equipment solutions and we are searching for passionate, high performing and driven people from various backgrounds, disciplines and industries.


Key Focus Areas:


  • Provide leadership and support to the sales team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strategic Account Management.
  • Collaborative approach to working across business units.
  • Remain abreast of current industry and market trends.
  • Lead the negotiation of customer contracts and supply agreements.
  • Develop strategic Customer Accounts Plans and Market Share Strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and intern

To be successful the following is required:

  • Trade Qualification or Tertiary qualification in either an engineering or commercial discipline, or demonstrated commercial and business experience.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads, conflicting priorities and achieve tight deadlines.
  • A high level of initiative and problemsolving skills.
  • Be aligned and lead via our SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect & Customer.

This is a permanent opportunity based at our Customer Support Centre located in South Guildford with sporadic travel to site as required.
