The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Injury Management, Security and Training Manager and working within a small friendly, progressive, and supportive team. You will work in both a clinical setting as well as the production environment, to engage with employees through injury reviews, attending medical appointments and treatments, return to work and rehabilitation planning, as well as proactive work assessments within your scope of qualifications to prevent damage, identify risk factors, and improve workers health and wellness using physical, behavioural, and other injury preventive measures


The incumbent will be actively involved in planning and coordinating injury reviews and managing injury treatment plans or referrals, coordinating workers' compensation claims, assisting in case and claims management, as well as providing information, reports and analysis on injuries and illnesses.

This position requires a full-time commitment, with working hours from Monday to Friday.


The Role:


  • Daily coordination and communication of injury management, treatments, reviews and return to work processes.
  • Undertake and complete injury reviews and perform treatment regimes, that allow injured employees to return to full and constructive work (dependent on your qualifications)
  • Provide clinical intervention and recommendations
  • Attend medical appointments with injured employees to effect positive outcomes
  • Coordinate effective Workers' Compensation and rehabilitation and returntowork programs

Selection Criteria:


  • Relevant allied health qualification: (Registered/Enrolled Nurse, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapist, Bachelor of Paramedical Science)
  • AHPRA registration
  • Strong and relative experience in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of injury management, workers' compensation and rehabilitation
  • Strong assessment, analysis and report writing skills, as well as the use of the Microsoft suite of technologies
  • Independent thinker with a selfenabling attitude is a must, and an energetic, proactive approach and interest towards injury prevention and wellbeing
  • Friendly and approachable with a caring and empathetic manner
  • The ability to effectively manage and prioritize time and workload skills.
