About the Role;
Our Client is the market-leading manufacturer of on-site Wastewater Treatment Systems in Australia.

In addition to sales and installation, they also provide routine preventative maintenance, warranty and unscheduled breakdown servicing to ensure the ongoing health of their Treatment Systems.

With a market share of over 80% in South East Qld, they are committed to providing consistent, quality servicing to their national client base.

This is a newly created pivotal role as part of the Senior Management Team.

This role will see you responsible for managing the service division of the business, with the main emphasis being to have input into and develop effective processes and procedures to drive the strategic growth of the Service Divison.

This will include developing sales strategies, generating leads and managing the in-field servicing team.

You will also be building effective relationships with customers, industry bodies and key decision makers to enable you to build a sales pipeline, drive customer satisfaction and ultimately grow company profitability.


This exciting role will suit an experienced Commercial Service/Sales Manager, who has experience within wastewater treatment or with an in-field servicing team within similarly aligned industries.

Duties:


  • Develop sales strategies to ensure the business achieves a competitive advantage
  • Provide a high level of Customer service and account sales management
  • Prospect customers in identified areas & drive the lead generation process through customer acquisition, eg; Sales Pipelines, Contracts, Orders and Payments and Customer Relationship Management
  • Manage a sales portfolio to deliver contract volume, margin, cost and EBITDA targets
  • Ensure delivery of agreed customer performance targets and ensure both customer and Servicing commitments are delivered in a timely and costeffective manner
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts aligned with business development plans
  • Develop efficient systems to manage and optimize infield servicing agents, vehicles and service van inventory
  • Develop capabilities across the business to offer valueadd services and products to new and existing customers

Skills and Experience:


  • Minimum five years management and industry experience within a service based business
  • Proven track record of sales lead generation and delivery
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high level of organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, complete projects and manage multiple tasks in a continuously changing business environment
  • Strong written and verbal negotiation and communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, confident, and capable of engaging at all levels of a customer's business
  • Teamwork attitude and behaviour
  • Excellent Decision making and problem solving ability
  • Current driver's license (Essential)
  • Ability to travel as required
