Novotel Sydney West HQ is currently recruiting for an experienced Night Manager to join the team

A bit about the role
As our Assistant Night Manager you will oversee the night operations of the hotel, in the absence of management.

To ensure that maximum guest satisfaction is achieved and that the general safety and security of guests, staff and the property is maintained at all times.

Your expertise will enable you to provide a superior service to our guests.

The main duties of this role include:

Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and completing daily revenue postings
Checking in and out guests as required
Preparing and distributing relevant reports to inter departments
Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for inhouse guests details ensuring all details are recorded accurately
Collating paperwork for departures and coordinate with the Front Office team
Ensuring an effective handover of issues is conveyed at the start and end of each shift between Night Audit and Reception

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Experience in a hotel reservations role (groups reservations preferred)
Friendly, confident, vibrant and professional personality
Superior communication skills
Intermediate computer and Microsoft suite experience
Experience working with PMS, Opera or Fidelio
Responsible service of Alcohol competency card (or willingness to obtain)
Full Australian work rights
