Looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Business Analyst to join a fast-paced and large-scale Cyber Team
Day rate contract paying up to 990 plus super, until at least the end of the year, based in Sydney CBD
Ideally a strong background in PAM and exposure to Beyond Trust and CyberArk

Position Overview:
Looking for a skilled Cyber Security Business Analyst to be a part of our Cyber Security Uplift initiative with a primary focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cyber security posture by analysing, strategising, and implementing solutions to mitigate risks associated with privileged access. Experience across Beyond Trust or CyberArk is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable PAM strategies and initiatives.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing PAM processes, policies, and technologies to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain a roadmap for PAM enhancement initiatives, aligning them with organisational goals and industry best practices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration of PAM solutions into existing systems and processes.
Provide expertise and guidance on PAM-related matters, including access controls, privilege escalation, and least privilege principles.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of PAM solutions through regular audits, reviews, and assessments, and implement adjustments as necessary.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in PAM technologies and cyber security practices, incorporating them into our strategy as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) preferred.
Proven experience as a Cyber Security Business Analyst, with a focus on Privileged Access Management.
In-depth understanding of PAM concepts, principles, and technologies, including privileged identity management, access controls, and session monitoring.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems and processes and identify areas for improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools preferred.
5+ years of proven PAM experience for large-scale uplifts/organisations
Exposure to Beyond Trust or CyberArk
