The Opportunity

Due to customer growth, our awesome team in Newcastle are after a Field Service Technician to join the fam to service our clients in the surrounding Newcastle region.

This position is to provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu customer equipment. You'll contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency through your efforts.

As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too.

We also provide a tool of trade vehicle, phone and laptop/tablet and uniforms/PPE for all our employees.

Roster:
Monday to Friday 38 hours per week - be home every night

Role Located:
Newcastle Branch

Annualised Approximate Wage:
$147000 per year based on 50 hours per week plus allowances and additional OT available at double time.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter / Mechanic) Trade Certificate
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and field service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded.
A minimum of C class Licence (MR Licence would be fantastic)
Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
Safety focused mindset is paramount.
Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work unsupervised.
A proven high level of customer service
