The Opportunity:
Due to internal movement, our head office in Fairfield is looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to work in our national parts team.
In this role, you will coordinate and manage OEM and affiliate orders (overseas assistance, export orders, global relocations & returns) and support internal inventory distribution through purchase order creation (DC to DC transfer & Branch returns).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain management overview of open Purchase Orders and Stock In Transit
- Manage global affiliate emergency requests, including providing shipping and logistics information back to affiliates.
- Ensure stock orders are processed to meet business requirements, including upload of approved POR within the expected period, tracking using overseas supplier systems.
- Process inventory movement and DC to DC transfers.
- Coordinating activities of other Purchasing Officers.
Role Located:
Fairfield Office (Monday - Friday, standard office hours, two days WFH)

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Qualifications in business or supply chain or similar or relevant experience
- Demonstrated purchasing and vendor management experience (5 + years).
- Proven team management experience (desired)
- Intrinsically motivated with proven time management skills to prioritise and deliver routine tasks.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Intermediatelevel Excel skills
- Previous PMATES experience or other ERP/ Purchasing system (desirable)
- Previous experience with MS Dynamics AX preferred
