The Opportunity:

Due to internal movement, our head office in Fairfield is looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to work in our national parts team.

The primary objective of this role is to be responsible for ordering and processing spare parts for Komatsu.

In this role, you will coordinate and manage OEM and affiliate orders (overseas assistance, export orders, global relocations & returns) and support internal inventory distribution through purchase order creation (DC to DC transfer & Branch returns).

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain management overview of open Purchase Orders and Stock In Transit
Manage global affiliate emergency requests, including providing shipping and logistics information back to affiliates.
Ensure stock orders are processed to meet business requirements, including upload of approved POR within the expected period, tracking using overseas supplier systems.
Process inventory movement and DC to DC transfers.
Coordinating activities of other Purchasing Officers.

Role Located:
Fairfield Office (Monday - Friday, standard office hours, two days WFH)

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications in business or supply chain or similar or relevant experience
Demonstrated purchasing and vendor management experience (5 + years).
Proven team management experience (desired)
Intrinsically motivated with proven time management skills to prioritise and deliver routine tasks.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements
Intermediatelevel Excel skills
Previous PMATES experience or other ERP/ Purchasing system (desirable)
Previous experience with MS Dynamics AX preferred
