Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in health, to join our federal government client.
As the Business Analyst, you will have considerable internal and external stakeholder interaction and will act as the conduit between the business units, internal stakeholders that will include the IT business management, solutions development, and solutions implementation functional teams within the Agency and with relevant stakeholders from the health sector.
Responsibilities:
Provide expertise across a broad range of digital health standards activities potentially
relating to the work of different program areas.
Take responsibility for the achievements of own and team outcomes, monitor progress, and follow through to deliver quality outcomes.
Recommend strategic directions for area of responsibility and consider wider agencyimplications when making decisions.
Consider and effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions when
achieving team planning and project outcomes in line with agency goals and objectives.
Provide a significant contribution to innovation and business improvement strategies.
Engage with risk, including the conduct of risk assessment and risk management activities for area of responsibility.
Requirements gathering from a range of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on business needs and how multiple stakeholder needs can be addressed (e.g., consumers, healthcare providers, government).
Impact assessment of proposals on current activities.Coordination of inputs on draft documents and analysis of feedback
Deliver the project within scope, budget, and timeframes
Requirements:
Extensive core and end-to-end Business Analysis experience
Health industry experience and knowledge is essential
Experience implementing solutions in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
Outstanding stakeholder management skills and experience
Positive mindset and ability to work on multiple activities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
MUST be an Australian Citizen
