    Description

    Mainframe System Automation Engineer
    Green Light Worldwide are seeking a talented and experienced Mainframe system automation Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system automation and optimisation, with expertise in installing, customising, and maintaining Solve:
    Operations, IBM Z System Automation, and IBM Z NetView.


    Responsibilities

    • Install, customise, and maintain

    SOLVE:
    Operations, IBM Z System Automation, and IBM Z NetView solutions to optimise system performance and efficiency.

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
    • Conduct system assessments and recommend enhancements to improve performance and efficiency.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for

    SOLVE:
    Operations, IBM Z System Automation, and IBM Z NetView implementations.

    • Stay updated on the latest developments in Solve technology and related systems, recommending upgrades or enhancements as needed.
    • Utilise NCL and Rexx languages for design, coding, and testing to streamline processes such as system monitoring, event management, job scheduling, workload automation, and performance analysis.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in installing, customizing, and maintaining

    SOLVE:
    Operations, IBM Z System Automation, and IBM Z NetView solutions.

    • Strong understanding of system architecture and infrastructure.
    • Experience in design, coding, and testing with Solve:Operations NCL and Rexx languages.
    • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
