    What you'll deliver with us

    AS ourDev OpsAutomationEngineer you will play a technical lead role in optimising business processes through the implementation of intelligent automation solutions.

    The role supports the Senior Manager of Automation and collaborates with cross-functional teams in all aspects of automation lifecycle from ideation, discovery, design, develop, test and post go-live support and involves managing junior and mid-level automation developers.

    It is vital to have strong attention to detail and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Visio and Power Point.

    You'll also

    Collaborate with business SMEs to understand their processes, identify automation opportunities, and propose high-level solution with scope, timeline, and cost estimations.

    Assist Solution Architect with Design and document end-to-end automation solutions, including process analysis and design (PDD), solution architecture design (SDD) and additional documents as required.

    Develop and test Ui Path solutions, ensuring best practices are followed for scalability, performance, maintainability, and process orchestration.
    Drive Ui Path solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption.

    Lead the ongoing technical support for processes already deployed in production, working with business SMEs to identify root causes and enhance the solution.

    Apply agile principles to continuously improve ways of working and delivery of customer outcomes.
    About you
    You are a motivated self-starter who can work in an ambiguous environment.

    You are a collaborative individual who can work with the broader technology team resources on specific projects including project management, business analysts, detailed designers and testers.

    Externally you will get the opportunity to work with vendors and partners to understand new and emerging solutions and technologies, and how these might be applied to deliver value to Australia Post and our customers and people.

    You'll also need
    Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Ui Path.

    A minimum of 7 years total working experience as a Dev Ops Engineer with experience as a Ui Path developer, RPA Technical Lead or Automation Architect.

    Skilled in VB.

    NET, SQL, No SQL, MS Power Apps, Power Automate, Ui Path Orchestrator, Power BI, Azure Dev Ops, C#, or Java.

    Expert organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with understanding of SDLC, Dev Ops and Agile methodologies.

    Understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution.

    Knowledge of Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism is advantageous, experience with integration points ideally SAP, API or Salesforce is also relevant.

    Hands on experience with Ui Path development, operations, process automation monitoring or troubleshooting skills.
