- Financial reporting, planning and analysis of Telstra Purple
- Alignment of accounting and reporting frameworks to facilitate Telstra's requirements
- Management of Telstra Purple forecast/budget
- Liaising and engaging with various finance SME's (treasury, finance, accounting, shared services) to drive a consolidated financial reporting
- Support the NAS finance team with end to end view
- Completion of internal and external group reporting obligations in accordance with applicable legislative requirements
- Board meeting presentations to directors
- Support team members with the completion of month-end activities including P&L and balance sheet management, posting of manual adjustments and preparation of reporting packs, ensuring output is of an excellent standard
- Support the continuous improvement in the upstream, downstream and financial processes to achieve an optimal operating model for the management of Telstra Purple
- Take accountability for assigned work tasks, working independently when contributing to core activities such as the preparation of periodic management reporting and financial results for assigned business areas
- Participate in sessions with interdepartmental stakeholders, contributing quality financial analysis and timely advice to various business groups aligned to strategic financial objectives
- CA or CPA qualification or working towards
- Experience in both management accounting – to support business partnership and technical accounting - to support accounting compliance
