An exciting opportunity as a Finance Analyst to work in a leading education institute and working closely with a supportive CFO and friendly team.


This role will be responsible for driving process improvement and operational performance by designing, developing, and automating standard reporting solutions.


The role will be responsible for developing and delivering fit for purpose reporting, dashboards, data visualisation and analysis to allow senior leaders to make informed decisions.

Power BI experience and strong stakeholder management skills will be key to be successful in this role.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with the month end process and report development for the Executive team, Finance Audit and Resource Management Committee, and the Board of Directors
  • Design, develop and automate finance reporting to help drive business improvements and monthly Financial Performance Packs helping to provide detailed variance analysis at various levels
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the finance reporting strategy including the ongoing development and maintenance of the Finance Enrolment Dashboard
  • Develop and deliver fit for purpose reporting, dashboards, data visualisation and analysis to allow senior leaders to make informed financial decisions
  • Development of annual planning and quarterly forecasting templates, consolidation and reporting inclusive of commentary. This will involve working collaboratively with the CEO, and Executive, incorporating input from across the organisation
  • Partner with senior leaders in the identification of evolving business needs and data analysis and reporting requirements to drive the continuing enhancement of commercial business management capabilities
  • Undertake financial modelling to support and influence key operational and strategic business decisions
  • Assist in the development and delivery of forecasting and budgeting packs for internal stakeholders, Executive team and Board and drive continuous improvement of forecasting/budgeting processes

You will have:


  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with relevant Finance Analyst experience
  • Strong Power BI experience and knowledge and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management skills
