How you'll make an impact
The Marketing function in AMP is critical in understanding our customers, their needs and aspirations. This function is responsible for developing compelling solutions, offers and experiences for our customers. This role will support delivery for achieving customer growth and onboarding targets for Everyday Banking and Home Lending Direct/Digital.

This will be achieved by designing, executing, and optimising multi-channel digital and direct marketing campaigns to acquire and onboard new to bank customers across each portfolio to achieve annual acquisition plans aligned with the Bank's vision to be a digital-first Bank.

The role will span but is not limited to traditional and digital marketing and events.


You'll make an impact by:

  • Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, Growth to contribute to the creation of the annual marketing activity plan in line with consumer, product, distribution and Group brand objectives and annual business targets.
  • Ongoing analysis and reporting of performance will be a focus, in particular to uncover performance insights and learnings with robust data points that lead to ongoing continuous improvement. Fluency is required in utilising data and analytics to track campaign performance, optimise campaign performance and conversion in real time, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders ensuring targets are achieved.
  • As part of the overall customer acquisition and onboarding strategy, create, seek out and surface fresh ideas and opportunities to do things differently and test & learn how can the acquisition and onboarding strategy deliver more fully onboarded customers with greater efficiency and productivity (time/cost).
  • Build effective partnerships with key Bank stakeholders to enable close collaboration with Bank to develop a strong understanding of both Home Lending and Everyday Banking portfolios market drivers, pricing strategy, target audience definitions, proposition and offer development and appropriate measures of success.
  • Build effective partnerships across the broader Marketing function, including with agency partners, to ensure digital and direct campaigns are engaging, effective, complement brand activities and align with product launches, promotions, and key events.
  • Working handinglove with the Brand & Content team, develop and execute AMP Bank brand building campaigns, through the lens of proof point, creative and media plan development aligned to brand and business objectives.

What you will bring to the team

  • Extensive experience in direct and digital Marketing, Communications or related disciplines with particular focus on:
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisionmaking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience working with product and technology teams to develop and optimise customer acquisition and onboarding experiences.
  • A proven track record of successfully executing direct and digital marketing campaigns that drive business growth.
  • A passion for staying up to date on the latest marketing trends and emerging technologies.
  • A resultsdriven mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to operate strategically and implement tactically in a very handson environment.
  • Handson communications skills for multichannel environment.
  • Regulatory and technical content.
  • Marketing project management.
  • Proven experience defining, implementing, and optimising digital marketing strategies across channels, preferably with experience in the Banking sector.
  • Proven success driving commercial results, on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated ability managing and championing customercentricity amongst other pressures.
  • Demonstrated expertise with digital marketing best practice.
